Will students benefit from the study?
As children engage in the programme, they will be more aware of the nature surrounding them, and will have benefitted by spending time in nature. Students will also gain an understanding of broad environmental issues and of other countries and cultures.
When will the study be done and what is the time commitment?
The study will be run over the 2022 Autumn term (5th September – 23rd December 2022), with expansion to other schools in the future. Teachers will need to deliver the activity sessions and communicate with the partner school at least once per month (minimum of three times in total), as well as attend 30 minute briefing and debriefing sessions with the researchers.
